Vacuum packaging machines we can service and repair

We can service and repair all major vacuum packaging machines from brands like Henkelman, Audionvac, Turbovac and Webomatic. Routine servicing and vacuum packaging maintenance is essential and has many benefits including:

If you use your machine a lot you should stick to a monthly maintenance schedule, if your usage is light a service every 6 months would be recommended. We can offer special packages for pre-planned servicing and we offer a non-scheduled repair call at a reasonable price including call out.

Our Vacuum Packing Machine Service Process

A routine service generally involves the following steps:

Pre-service vacuum check will be taken to record the minimum vacuum before work is undertaken; this is an essential check to find out if the machine is working correctly. This also checks the efficiency of the machine before service so we can show how the service has improved the machine.

Oil will be drained and “sludge” build-up flushed out to ensure the vacuum pump life is extended to its maximum. Pump exhaust filter replaced as required & the correct grade oil will be filled to the correct level.

Vacuum pump exhaust filters are checked for clogging and replaced where necessary – filters are essential for ensuring the oil is strained and cleaned correctly, clean filters prevent misting to atmosphere.

Lid seal and anvil rubbers are inspected for cuts and splitting, damaged anvil bar rubber could indicate over heating seal bars during the sealing cycle or incorrect program setting.

Seal bar(s) are removed and stripped with new pft heat resisting tape applied along with new seal wires if required.

Finally as the vacuum packer is assembled prior to testing, electrical components are checked too. Lid struts are inspected for optimum performance, and inlet and exhaust valve solenoids inspected for any damage.

The machine will be run and a final vacuum gauge check made to ensure the machine is working correctly and adjusted to provide optimum vacuum. Programs will be checked and any defects / observations reported to customer.
