Description
Dip tanks or shrink tanks as they sometimes called help to give a vacuum packed product a more professional finish. The so called second skin.
Most of the times the dip tank is used alongside a vacuum packer or vacuum power sealer. After your product has been packed it would be put into the dip tank. The excess plastic that is left after vacuum packing is then shrunk down using the heat of the water in the dip tank and creates a more satisfying finish to the product with no plastic flaps around the product.
