We supply Gunther injectors, manufactured in Germany, they are simply the best meat injectors on the market. Suitable for meat, poultry & fish products. From manual to fully automatic in-line solutions, they are suitable for boneless or bone-in products. Various needle types are also available.
There are two main types of meat injector and they are hand application or belt production line application.
A hand held meat injector would be suitable for smaller operations where meat is injected by hand.
A belt production meat injector is more likely to be used by a medium/large scale meat production operation where the machine automatically injects meat as it passes through the machine on a production line.
The number of needles you need depends on the size of product you wish to inject and how many injection sites you need.
If you are injecting small fillets of meat then you will more than likely be ok with a device that has fewer needles or needle configurations.
If you inject a wide range of different products like, meat, fish and cheese or a differing range of sized products you would be better off with a machine that has more needles or needle design options.
Capacity is measure in the weight of product a machine can process in kilograms per hour.
Normally this only applies to belt production line machines to gauge how much work the machine can do per hour.
If you need to inject large volumes of meat on a production line per hour then you need to choose a machine that can deliver the output you need.
This relates to production line application meat injectors and is simply how wide the belt is that passes through the machine.
If the meat, fish or cheese that you are injecting is say 240mm wide then you will need a machine with a belt equal to or greater than this.
This relates to production line application meat injectors and is simply how tall the gap is for the product to pass through.
If the meat, fish or cheese that you are injecting is say 70mm tall then you will need a machine with a product clearance hight equal to or greater than this.
If you are looking at a production line application meat injector then you need to make sure you have space for it to fit into your production line.
This sounds obvious but it is often overlooked and these machines can be quite large so its important to make sure it will fit in the space you have.
When you speak to us we will help you understand all of the different meat injector options and we will take the time to understand your needs to ensure that we recommend the right meat injector for your needs.
